Our Story
As part of Familia Foundation Kenya, we support rural development, education, and sustainable livelihoods for girls and underserved communities in Kisumu. Our coffee project is deeply tied to this mission. Volunteers from around the world are welcome to join us—not just to learn about coffee, but to contribute to something larger: mentoring girls, supporting our and local schools, and building a stronger, self-reliant community.
Meet our Founder
Zablon Mambo
I’m Zablon , originally from Kenya, and now living in Oslo, Norway. After years working in the hospitality industry across Europe, I began to reflect on how many people love good coffee but rarely know where it comes from, or who grows it. Back home in Kisii, I had seen how hard coffee farmers work, often with little reward. At the same time, I saw an opportunity: what if we could connect everyday Norwegians to this rich, vibrant coffee culture and create something bigger than just a business?

What We stand For
Respect
We value the farmers, communities, and craftsmanship behind every coffee we source.
Traceability
We believe coffee should stay connected to its origin, from the western highlands of Kenya to the final cup.
Quality
We carefully select and roast coffees to highlight clarity, sweetness, and balance.
Simplicity
Good coffee should feel approachable, memorable, and easy to enjoy everyday.
